Ingredients
200 ml warm water
2 T sugar
1 t yeast
1 T unsalted butter (melted by not hot)
1 egg yolk
400 g all-purposed flour
1 t salt
2 L water
1 t salt
Sesame seeds
Sun seeds
Directions

Combine water, sugar and yeast and stir to combine.

Add butter and egg and mix to combine.

Add flour and salt and mix to form a dough.

Flour a surface and hand knead the bread for 5 minutes.

Turn bottom under to form a ball.

Place in a lightly oiled bowl.

Cover with plastic wrap and a towel and allow to rise for 1 hour (should double in size).

Remove from bowl and roll into a log.

Divide into 6 pieces.

Roll each piece into a ball.

Once all balls are done, place a finger through the middle.

Open the hole a bit and use both fingers to turn to create a well-formed hole.

Bring water to a boil and add salt.

Boil bagels on each side for 30 seconds and remove to parchment paper.

Brush tops with egg white and dip to toppings (sesame seeds/.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes (until golden brown).

Allow to cool.
