Caramel
Ingredients
1/4 c butter
1/2 c white syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c sweetened condensed milk
Directions

Combine in a sauce pan (not a double boiler).

Cook on low heat until comes to a rolling boil that cannot be stirred down.

Boil for 7 minutes on open flame stove, stirring every 2 minutes.

Butter a 9X9 pan and pour caramel into pan.

Allow to cool in a cool place for 1 day.
Notes
Can wrap in wax paper for caramel treats.
