Gyros

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 3 T Greek seasoning
  • Feta cheese
  • Tzatziki Sauce
  • Pita bread
  • Hummus
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomatoes, diced
  • Directions

    1. Preheat over to 350 F.
    2. Combine lamb and Greek seasoning.
    3. In an oven safe baking dish, mold the lamb into a loaf about 1 ½ inched thick.
    4. Bake the lamb for 45 minutes.
    5. Remove the lamb and allow to cool slightly.
    6. Slice the lamb into 1-inch-thick slabs.
    7. In a fry pan on medium heat, fry the slabs for a few minutes on each side to brown.
    8. Serve with arm pita bread and feta cheese.
