Snickers

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (divided)
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter (divided 3 ways)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 cups marshmallow fluff
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cup peanuts, or preferred nuts (roughly chopped)
  • Directions

    1. Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
    2. Add 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter to a small pot on the stove on medium heat.
    3. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly.
    4. Pour choclate and peanut butter mixture into preparted pan and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    5. Melt butter, sugar and milk on medium heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    6. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    7. Remove from heat.
    8. Add marshmallow fluff, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and vanilla and stir until smooth.
    9. Stir in nuts.
    10. Pour nougat on top of chocolate layer and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    11. Melt caramels and cream on low heat until smooth.
    12. Pour caramel on top of nougat layer and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    13. Add 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter to a small pot on the stove on medium heat.
    14. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly.
    15. Pour choclate and peanut butter mixture into preparted pan and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    16. Cut into desired sizes and freeze until use.
