Snickers

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (divided)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (divided 2 way)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1-1/2 cups marshmallow fluff
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 package caramels
  • 1/4 c whipping cream
  • 1-1/2 cup peanuts, or preferred nuts (roughly chopped)
  • Directions

    1. Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray (helps parchment to stick).
    2. Place a layer of parchment paper on the bottom of the pan.
    3. Add 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter to a small pot on the stove on medium heat.
    4. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly.
    5. Pour chocolate and peanut butter mixture into prepared pan and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    6. Melt butter, sugar and evaporated milk on medium heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    7. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    8. Remove from heat.
    9. Add marshmallow fluff, vanilla and peanuts and stir until well incorporated.
    10. Pour nougat on top of chocolate layer and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    11. Melt caramels and cream on low heat until smooth.
    12. Pour caramel on top of nougat layer and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    13. Add 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter to a small pot on the stove on medium heat.
    14. Heat until smooth, stirring constantly.
    15. Pour chocolate and peanut butter mixture into prepared pan and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    16. Cut into desired sizes and freeze until use.
